News just in from Epic Games says that they will be shutting down Rocket league due to the game's average monthly profit dropping to the point where Epic Games are losing money but keeping Rocket League running.
The CEO of Epic Games Tim Sweeney had this to say: "I am very sorry to the very dedicated fan base of Rocket League but it is causing us to loose money and as a result of this myself and my business advisors have decided it is the best to shut down Rocket League".
There is talk among the community of starting a fundraiser but time is running out.
The servers are set to shut down on the 1st of January 2020 and fans are rushing to get the money together to keep the game up but the amount raised so far is unknown. When more information is known we will update this page but until then we can only hope for the best for the Rocket League fans out there.
