Due to recent conflict, Libya has banned the importation of all bananas, upsetting millions. "This is a public outcry and this is some tough times we are dealing with, here," states a Libyan local. "How am I supposed to feed my kids now?" Recently, there has been protests against the so-called 'banana genocide', but for right now, Libya has banned all bananas and anyone who's caught with a banana is subject to a 560-dinar fine (~400 USD) or one year imprisonment.
