Concerned and intrigued residents and tradespeople in Blackheath, West Midlands are reporting sounds of flushing water in and around the town's central traffic island. After thorough checks by the water board due to customer call-outs, no source of a leak can be found yet. This baffling noise is more noticeable at night when traffic and noise pollution is at a minimum.
Local medium Steve Diamond speculates that the legend of the now sadly paved over underground toilets from yesteryear are to blame and simply cannot move onto the afterlife. Witnesses are being asked to report any further sounds to Regis Medical Centre as their nurses can arrange ear syringing on a case by case basis unless the flushing is recorded by camera phones; in which case South Staffs Water should be approached again.
