The Communist Party of Vietnam, known for reasons in their name, is set to shut down in 2020. The party is losing money and is struggling to keep communist Vietnam alive. They hope that another communist party is going to be elected, however, the Vietnamese is set to vote for a non-communist party so they can finally have a say and not have to live in Vietnam's current state.
"I'm stuck in Communist Vietnam and they won't let me go on holiday somewhere else. They won't let me emigrate this communist country. I'd like to at least holiday in a normal, non-communist country." an anonymous individual who's a resident of Vietnam has told us.
