Earlier this evening, Harold Jin, a 5th grader at "The School at Columbia", (not Columbia University), won the "Extreme Battle Royale" in Fortnite. This is a huge accomplishment, considering he was up against many pro adult gamers who have spent years practicing for this.
Fortnite is a new game that blew up, becoming one of the top 5 most popular online games. It is also well known for its dances, that even people who are not players of the game have started obsessing over.
His account hjinfortnitepro, was only recently created.
His older sister's friend, Sloane Siegel, says she was not aware of his obsession for Fortnite. "I never knew he was so into it," she said.
Harold has recieved the medal of honor, an online medal, that he can equip on Fortnite and display for the world to see.
