As the game continues to grow, it gets harder to keep their servers up. So because of people playing the game to much, and a risk of civilian casualties, Epic Games, creators of 'Fortnite', have agreed to shut down ever and all servers and delete the online game from all devices.
Refunds will not be considered as they were cosmetic only and granted no competitive advantage.
