With this new announcement coming from Epic Games, we are sad to see that Fortnite: Battle Royale will be shutting down "near the beginning of March". Many popular content makers, streamers and gamers be losing out on the amazing content we have been shared with over the past 2 and a half years, and it is currently unknown at the time of writing if another company will copy "Fortnite: Battle Royale".

Epic Games has said they will make Fortnite: Save the World their main priority, and it will become free to play on the first of January.

At the time of writing, 2 hours after @Fortnite posted this sad tweet, it is unknown and highly unlikely that fortnite players will be receiving refunds on skins and gliders, as they aren't currently accessible in Fortnite: Save the World.
