There has been a reported sighting at Beaver Pond that is very unusual for New England, and a problem that needs to be solved ASAP. Two full-grown alligators were discovered on the morning of September 10th in Beaver Pond of Franklin Massachusetts. Nobody has any clue as to how they got here, some have speculations that a man in a truck had dropped them off, but there is no confirmation this point in time. After talking to locals who typically fish here have said they have no catchings, and suspect the alligators are feeding off of fish which is concerning for the habitat of the pond. The Alligators are said to be around 6-8 feet long with a narrow face and teeth outside the mouth, visible to the human eye.

Source says: (42 yr old); Bradshaw was on his morning walk when he said he saw one of the alligators onshore near the path on 495 hugging against Beaver Pond. He then reported it to animal control immediately and the AC unit sent a representative to Beaver to check out the waters. At this point it's unclear if the Alligators migrated into the minebrook or are staying in the swampy pond. Animal Control has said they refuse to pursue any works in getting them out, since they do not believe this is probable. Everyone must stay safe, and stay out of waters. If you come across a wild reptile, keep your distance and report it immediately. *TIPS: run zig-zag if an alligator comes toward you*

Facts to be mindful of, these animals are typically distributed amongst the Sub-Saharan Africa, the Nile Basin, and Madagascar. Places where alligators are located consist of rivers, wide freshwater lakes, freshwater swamps, mangrove swamps as well as coastal estuaries. This is not where they should be during this season, and they are in complete danger because of this territory change.
