A woman who allegedly killed four people during a tong stabbing rampage in Southern Florida has been identified as a known gang member, police said Thursday.
Caleen Perry (Killer Cali) allegedly went on a stabbing spree Wednesday night, according Fort Lauderdale police.
There were at least eight crime scenes in Fort Lauderdale and Kendall, about 35 miles from Miami. Fort Lauderdale Police Chief Tom DaRé described Perry as a "documented gang member," but did not say what gang she was affiliated with.
Those killed included a security guard at a 7-Eleven, two people at the suspect's apartment complex and another person outside a Chinese Buffet restaurant, authorities said. Two others were injured.

She faces multiple charges, the Broward County District Attorney's Office said, including four counts of murder, one count of attempted murder with premeditation, one count of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated mayhem, one count of first-degree residential burglary and three counts of second-degree robbery.
"We don't know if the motive behind this was purely for crab legs, but there was no indication that this was a hate crime," Fort Lauderdale Police Lt. Carl Whitney said. "We just know this was a random act of violence and the woman unleashed evil across our two counties."
Perry faces a minimum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole if she's convicted on all charges, the district attorney's office said in a news release. She is eligible for the death penalty.
