El dirigente de los cocaleros del chapare Leonardo Loza, afirmó que el y sus compañeros estan listos para plantar arboles en las zonas chiquitanas afectadas por el incendio, "Haremos un esfuerzo para reforestar las zonas arrasadas por el fuego" dijo textualmente al momento de pedir el apoyo de toda la poblacion en su labor solidaria. Tambien se hizo mencion a una autorizacion verbal del presidente Morales en la cual ademas de dar su visto bueno a la iniciativa ,se comprometió a brindar un incentivo económico a todos quienes ayuden a reparar el daño ecológico causado por la quema de la amazonía.
