New Jersey officials have stated that for the 2020-2021 year will make schools have a strict dress codes as they want their students to have a more thorough learning experience. Sweatshirts/pants will not be allowed as they are causing the student to feel more tired and lackadaisical. Girls will need to wear jeans and a formal top or a dress. Boys will need to wear khakis and a formal top. Officials say this will help the students feel more awake and prepared for their day. If the student fails to follow this dress code it will result in a detention/suspension. Hopefully the incoming year will improve academic status of the children with the new attire.
