The 13 year old, soon to be 14 was offered a LLWS (Little League World Series) contract for 60,000$ on July 17, 2018. The news came to him after him and his team won provincials in Nova Scotia.
Eli Lance also known as “Jordiebats” played for the AAA Kentville Wildcats when he declined the contract offer, his words were “As much as I wanna play in the LLWS there is someone who deserves the contact more then me, that person is my girlfriend (Allie Paul).” He then walked over and and got Allie to come over and they offered her the contract, Allie jumped up and hugged Eli. She said “ I have never been so happy in a sport in my life! I love u baby, ur the best! They flew the both of them down and Eli had a great time watching His Girlfriend play like an all star.
