It's only been two months since the original Quest has been released, with over a million sold already surpassing Jesse Schell's expectations, developer of a title on the Quest known as "I Expect You To Die". It seems to be successful as a product with 5 million dollars worth of Oculus Quest content already sold.

Recently, a 4chan user, claiming to be an Oculus employee working in the hardware department, released an image of three different colored virtual reality headset containing a halo strap, with 5 cameras on front like Rift S, however a new addition seems to be that the halo strap also includes 4 cameras on it, most definitely to conquer the problem of losing tracking when the controllers are behind the head. Going back to the different colored aspect, this is something not seen before on the Oculus Quest, with it only being in black. Red, White, and Black are the colors of the headsets shown.

Now, the image has been removed presumably by Oculus' request. Although, in an interview on July 24, the vice president of Oculus, Hugo Barra has said this, "We'll confirm, the images are in-fact real, and we are still looking for the person who has posted it. As many of our fans are very anxious to try this new headset or hear new details, we're deciding to release it the following week", Hugo Barra also says that the intended release was to be 1 month later, although the current state it is in is complete.

We have yet to hear hardware details, however rumors suggest a Snapdragon 845 chip, more powerful than the previous 835 chip, and including a 1600x1600 per eye OLED screen resolution (3200x3200 in all), and an upgraded 125 degree field of view.
