Sad news as the creators of the popular video game "Grand Theft Auto" franchise are closing their online servers next month (21st August) after their latest update "THE DIAMOND CASINO & RESORT" - the game's lead developer and former president of Rockstar North, Leslie Peter Benzies, has said this regarding the closure of Grand Theft Auto Online: "I am extremely saddened and feel ashamed to release this statement but our online services are costing us too much with revenue falling, we are going to be focusing on our next title." - he explained, "We just can't keep supporting updates and with the next generation of consoles coming out we are going to be putting all of our focus into creating the next big thing."
