Na tarde desta quarta-feira, 15/05/2019, a empresa Nelson Granitos comunicou ao Erechim Auto Esporte Clube que deixaria de investir cerca de R$ 10 milhões no evento automobilístico. A empresa alega que o "mercado das pedras" está em baixa. Por isso, o Rally 2019 na capital da amizade foi cancelado e voltará a ocorrer somente em 2025, se a empresa Nelson retomar as vendas de pedras.
