Foi homologado pela ANATEL, a nova LEI Nº-0001302042019-1 que prevê que o uso indevido de licenças piratas pode gerar multas e prisões preventivas para quem a usa. A nova lei também estabelece que será feito uma nova verredura em toda rede de internet brasileira, ou seja, ao entrar num software com licença pirata, conectado a internet, automaticamente o IP será compartilhado para as autoridades.
