A votação sobre a cor do garimpeiro da orla se encerrou na manhã dessa quinta feira, a cor selecionada foi verde e vermelha. A grande quantidade de votos revoltou parte da população, a mesma queria que fosse dourado, para assim, combinar com a história da cidade. Segundo os organizadores, a votação foi transparente, contado voto a voto e não houve negligência.
